What are some feelings with regards to the front page layout? A visual overhaul is coming soon and we're interested in hearing thoughts regarding what/how to link topics from the front page. Thanks. Spore 15:33, 14 May 2006 (EDT)
- I think that setting up links on a kind of "sidebar" style like on your website would give the main page a good look, I'm not entirely sure HOW you would do it, but you could always set up a Main Page/Revision page or two while you work on new ideas. Mason11987 16:59, 14 May 2006 (EDT)
- Starting to look good might just be me but on my screen the top of the page has ben cut into but the edit/discussion/article and the logo is going over the edit/discussion/article toolbar 2 i'm sure you'll have it fixed soon :) Andy
All of the text in the diff viewer is messed up, as well as the preferences pages. All page, talk and contribs links show up white, in my contributions or recent changes. Just letting you know. Mason11987 13:22, 15 May 2006 (EDT)
yes all links are white which is bad as they dont differ from the white text :)
We're working on it now, this is the first time I've edited one of these things so hang in there and I will post back to this page once I'm done for now..
nice to see its really working :) i've never even used a wiki my self and there seem to be a lot of custom coding, but you seem to be doing a great job of it :)

Catagory Links
Eventaully when more information is created links to it like under community a link to the Editors, or other things or jsut have the different catagories on the front page. Andy

Total Revamp?
It's been a while since anybody has visited this wiki at all and to tell you all the truth i find it kind of dull. Something should be done to the main page to draw more people in. Right now it seems like the page is pushing people away instead. Something besides the different creations should be put on the main page, possibly news, or galleries... something. I was also thinking that mayber the winners of the different wallpaper contests (and possibly all the entries) should be stored somewhere on this wiki, so others can look at the the former entries.
