From front to back: Creature, planet, solar system and the main Sporepedia card, representing the galaxy.

The Sporepedia is a collection of virtual game cards generated for each solar system, planet and creature (Probably buildings, flora and vehicles too).

Since each card represents a piece of content made by players, these cards will probably be the interface for choosing content made by other players (You will be able to add favorite content creators, or ban/report creators of offensive content).

Each card shows the statistics of the piece of content that they represent, and the name of the player who made it.

These cards will also be available in a card game outside of Spore, most likely a multiplayer one. Will Wright has mentioned that this card game might be available on mobile phones and other hand consoles.
